2009

“We never could have made it to our 2nd Anniversary Celebration without the Lord on our side!” This past year has been a test of faith for WOLCM.  WOLCM has been tested to keep the faith during periods when many constraints were imposed upon us unwillingly. Nevertheless, we were able to persevere through tough and trouble times.   In 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, the Apostle Paul encouraged us not to lose heart during the storms of life because the storms come and are only temporary

(“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.  For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.  So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal”).

While experiencing temporary storms of life, we learned to put our trust in the Lord at all times (Proverbs 3:5-7).  We learned that God is able to see us through every situation. We know that God has our back regardless of the problem. There is no problem too big that God can not solve. Every storm or problem we face in life is working for our good.  Word of Life, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:28). Therefore, I encourage you to count it pure joy when you are faced with problems in life as a Believer because your blessing is around the corner (“Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.  Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything”).

Regardless of what you may be going through, we at The Word of Life Christian Ministries know that you can make it through the storm. We are here for you.  We are praying for you.  We are here with love and open arms to encourage and empower you to succeed in life.   I know you can make it with the strength of the Lord.    Come and be empowered and enriched with Word of God.   I call you blessed because I see your future and it looks better than your past (“Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him” – James 1:12).
